Alice Nellis

Alice Nellis (1971), one of the most well-known Czech female directors whose films in most cases can be characterised as "Women's Stories" and therefore fit perfectly in the festival's thematic cycle. CinEast brings you the films Some Secrets, Little Girl Blue and Mamas&Papas.

With the support of Czech Centre Brussels.

Eryk Lubos

Eryk Lubos (1974), one of the currently busiest Polish film, theatre and TV actors appearing in numerous productions each year, awarded Best Actor award at Karlovy Vary IFF 2012 for his performance in Kill the Beaver. He stars in the films Women's Day, The Girl in the Wardrobe and Highway Patrol.

Metod Pevec

Metod Pevec (1958), a Slovenian director, scriptwriter and also documentary maker, who likes to explore the inner world of his strong women characters and who comes to CinEast with the award-winning films Estrellita and Tango Abrazos (and will attend the first two screenings of Tango Abrazos).

Agitprop

At CinEast, Agitprop will be represented by the producer Martichka Bozhilova and the films Balkan Melodie, The Last Black Sea Pirates and Tzvetanka.

£ódŸ Film School

£ódŸ Film School (since 1948) or "Filmówka" has produced some of the best talents of, and not only, Polish cinema. In celebration of its 65th anniversary, CinEast proudly presents a special retrospective of short films by its graduates of both the older and younger generations, including works by Polanski, Kieslowski, Wajda or Komasa.
