A boy named Tomas receives a camera for his 11th birthday and decides to shoot a movie just like Miloš Forman. He becomes the narrator, cameraman and director of his (=this) film - a deeply human story of his family and friends. Not before long we find ourselves in pursuit of a great family secret. His enigmatic father works from home, but Tomas finds out that on Tuesdays and Thursdays his father leaves the house. When confronted with that fact, the father denies it. Tomas suspects his father is seeing another woman and decides to do everything possible to prevent his father from leaving the family. During the investigation Tomas reveals the hidden side of Haris, his best friend, who also starts using the camera as the only way to get his mum and brother away from the hellish environment of his violent father. Courage and profound friendship lead Tomas and Haris to the unpredictable final revelation... This the first film ever shot entirely (as if) by a child. The film is shot with a hand-held camera and edited as if by a young boy, with the viewer perceiving the world through the eyes of the child. The audience sees the story unfold through the eyes of an innocent child, told with the typical honesty and heart-warming humour of a child.
