What does a journey to a European dream look like from the perspective of a refugee? This documentary film was shot in November 2015 at the Turkey-Syria border controlled by the Islamic State, on the Aegean coast, and in the Balkans. The director’s goal was to experience the life of a refugee first-hand. Using a hidden camera, he captured more than what can be shown in a conventional documentary, revealing unique footage of this dangerous business which neither the Turkish police nor the European Union seem able to stop.
