The story of Father Peter who returned to his village on an idyllic peninsula in Montenegro to take care of his sick mother. Soon he gets into trouble with a couple of opportunistic villagers who want to get rich by selling property to an investor from Western Europe and need to get hold of the priest’s piece of land. After many attempts to persuade him to sell, the priest stubbornly refuses and the villagers decide to chase him away by discrediting his work and trying to turn the rest of the superstitious village against him. Their war escalates at the funeral of a supposed witch, which turns into surreal mayhem. All Father Peter wants is peace, but can he get out of this seemingly hopeless and chaotic situation?
