The poetic story of a middle-aged man who tries to make a fundamental change in his life. Tomáš is mired in a stalemate. He has no job, he argues constantly with his ex-wife, he has to tackle problems involving his teenage son, and his ageing parents also expect his help. It seems that a young Englishwoman´s offer to leave for England with her is his last chance to escape the vicious circle. One of the best Slovak films of the 90s, presented in the framework of the Slovak EU presidency.
