Michal Roškaňuk, a self-advocate and originally a maker and inventor of low-current devices, has worked in a number of professions over the years. After a serious breakdown and re-diagnosis of Asperger's syndrome, he founded the Czech association Adventor o.s. (www.adventor.org), which provides a suitable environment and services to help people on the autistic spectrum, to lead independent and happy lives from childhood through to adulthood. Currently, Michal Roškaňuk provides advisory services for institutions, families and people on the autistic spectrum and organises discussions regarding the concept of neurodiversity and autism. He was the advisor of Miroslav Janek's documentary film Normal Autistic Film.
