Teenage Grzegorz lives with his parents in a small picturesque mountain town. He has lived in almost total silence since birth, while doctors and his parents put his sparse contact with his surroundings and his unusual behaviour down to autism. However, it turns out that it isn't a neurodevelopmental disorder but rather a severe hearing defect that is the cause of his impaired development. By verifying that the original diagnosis was wrong and providing appropriate treatment, the boy's immense musical talent – suppressed for years – can be uncovered. From now on, music will become his huge passion and professional goal, but as an adolescent he will have to deal with many of the problems of adult, independent life – one he was not used to. Will he have the determination to make his dreams come true and face adversity?
Based on true events, this is the story of Grzegorz Płonka, who, thanks to his parents' determination and his own inner strength, changed his life and began to realise dreams that had previously seemed impossible.
