Áron is as an average 29-year old weirdo. He recently finished university and is looking for a job, but he doesn´t really know what to do with himself. Suffering from the usual and numerous complexes going with contemporary life, he has just graduated from university and has recently broken up. His parents have to support him financially. While Áron is agonising over his lost love, he is always interrupted by something; it seems like he’s not the main character in his life. For Some Inexplicable Reason is an unconventional coming of age story, about the unbearable lightness of being a youngster, with a glimpse on the city in which Áron lives: Budapest. Daydreaming about leaving it all behind is also typical of today's young people: everybody wants to leave, but nobody can really live without the sense of heartbreak that this crazy and loveable city exudes.

Áron est un garçon ordinaire de 29 ans, un peu bizarre. Il a beaucoup de complexes contemporains, vient d’obtenir son diplôme universitaire et a récemment rompu avec sa copine. Comme il est encore à la recherche d'un emploi, ses parents doivent le soutenir financièrement. Tandis qu’il essaie de faire le deuil de son amour perdu, il est toujours interrompu par quelque chose ; il lui semble qu'il n'est pas le protagoniste de sa propre vie. For Some Inexplicable Reason (Pour une raison inexplicable) est un récit d’apprentissage non conventionnel sur l'insoutenable légèreté d'être jeune, sur fond de la ville dans laquelle vit Áron : Budapest. Rêver de laisser tout cela derrière soi est aussi une pulsion typique des jeunes d'aujourd'hui : tout le monde veut partir, mais au fond personne ne peut se passer de l’ambiance mélancolique que respire cette ville folle et adorable.
