The debut feature by Grzegorz Jaroszuk is a story about a group of colorful characters working in a carpet shop on the verge of bankruptcy. Their misfortune is about to take a turn, thanks to two crooks claiming to be marketing specialists, an ex-kebab shop worker and an ex-fortune teller from a wildlife magazine. Inspired by Aki Kaurismaki and Roy Andersson, this absurd and funny film is in fact a tough story about the hero’s loneliness and need for love. "Delightful moments of inspired silliness will make it a breath of fresh air for festival programmers." Variety “Owing more than a nod to the likes of Aki Kaurismäki and Roy Andersson...Kebab & Horoscope should deservedly grab the attention of arthouse distributors looking for leftfield black comedies.” Screen Daily
Jaroszuk's short film Frozen Stories will be screened before the film.
