Reinis Kalnaellis

Reinis Kalnaellis (1986) is a Latvian film director. He studied film-making (including at Prague’s FAMU), social sciences and media. His debut in animation When Apples Roll has been screened at over 100 festivals and received several awards. His second film was Funny Alphabet. He has been actively involved in Rija Films, a production and distribution company. He has been the chairman of Latvian Filmmakers Union since 2013.
