Ulay

Ulay (real name Frank Uwe Laysiepen) is a visual and performance artist who started to work in the late 60s and the 70s. In all his work, the central content is the relationship between the body, space and society. His work, as well as his collaborative work with Marina Abramović, has featured in many exhibitions and collections of major art institutions around the world. Ulay currently lives and works in Amsterdam and Ljubljana.
