Karolina Markiewicz

Karolina Markiewicz studied political science, philosophy and theatre. She lives in Luxembourg and Poland, works as a teacher, freelance journalist, art critic and commissioner. She is a member of Aica Luxembourg (Association internationale des critiques d'art). She writes for a number of periodicals as a contemporary art, film and theater correspondent in Luxembourg and in France. She is the founder and editor in chief of Salzinsel magazine, and co-founder of www.kulturstruktur.com (with Pascal Piron). She has commissioned several exhibitions in Luxembourg, France and Poland for Aica Luxembourg. She has directed several theatre pieces, and has co-realized and co-produced (with Pascal Piron) a short documentary, Les Formidables.
