Mark comes back home to Berlin after working away from home for some time. Anna, his wife, wants to leave him. He thinks she is having an affair with Heinrich, but Heinrich says she left him for someone else, too. In a very tense and neurotic atmosphere, Mark finally understands that her new lover is not human… A stunning drama where human and non-human beings mingle and develop troubling and wonderful presences, always in the shadow of the Berlin wall…

Mark retourne chez lui à Berlin alors que sa femme, Anna, a décidé de le quitter. Il soupçonne Heinrich d’être son amant. Mais celui-ci lui affirme qu'elle l'a aussi quitté pour un autre. Alors que les rapports deviennent de plus en plus tendus avec sa femme, Mark se rend compte que son nouvel amant n'est pas un être humain. Un drame bouleversant dans lequel les corps – qu’ils soient humains ou pas – crèvent l’écran grâce à leur présence magnifiquement inquiétante, toujours à l’ombre du mur de Berlin…
