The film presents a touching story of Daryna, a wife and mother, who leaves her home for two years and works as a maid in Italy to provide for a better life for her family back in Ukraine. With the money she earns her husband can continue building their new house and her daughter can study in the city. When she returns home for a short vacation, she finds it hard to get back to the old way of thinking and living but she follows her sense of responsibility and the love for her family. Carrying a big secret that she is afraid to share, she returns to Italy to make up her mind.A tense drama based on the difficult life-changing decision of a wife and mother about how to continue with her life after an experience of working abroad. Through the story of Daryna, the film deals with the issue of economic migration, which is the reality for a constantly growing number of Ukrainians.
