Ruxandra Zenide

Ruxandra Zenide, a Swiss-Romaniandirector, scriptwriter and producer, studied film directing at New York University and at FAMU in Prague. She taught cinema at ECAL (Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne) and is a member of the CINÉFOROM Selection Commission. In 2004 she co-founded the production company Elefant films and produced numerous films. Her feature debut Ryna (2005) gathered 15 awards at festivals around the world. Zenide also received the “Emerging Swiss Talent Award” at the Zurich Film Festival 2015.
