A dangerous prisoner is being transported to a psychiatric hospital. But this won't be an ordinary convoy. The escort group, under the supervision of Nowacki, the prison officer, includes two sergeants, a former military officer and law student, all with complicated pasts and very different characters and worldviews. Slowly, as the real purpose of the convoy comes to light, tensions and disputes arise among the men making up the escort. Convoy, a suspenseful road-thriller, examines the criminal justice system, dealing with the notions of crime and punishment in modern times, while setting the action in a closed environment where the justice is a relative concept. This gripping thriller about law and justice raises moral issues and asks whether one crime can justify another – does the end justify the means?
