Ewa Brodzka

Ewa Brodzka is a Polish production manager, assistant director, casting director, and an experienced filmmaker in her own right. Before launching her career as a casting director, she honed her skills and knowledge by working with well-known and talented directors on many international productions made in Poland, including Roman Polanski's The Pianist (2002) and Steven Spielberg's Schindler’s List (1993). She has worked on many feature films and television series in Poland, but most notable is her working relationship as first assistant director and production manager with Academy Award-winning director Andrzej Wajda on films like Katyń (Katyn, 2007), Tatarak (Sweet Rush, 2009), Wałęsa. Człowiek z nadziei (Walesa. Man of Hope, 2013) as well as his last film, Powidoki (Afterimage, 2017). Over the years as a casting director, she has cast dozens of feature films and TV series and "still finds the job creative and exciting".
