Goran Kapetanović

Goran Kapetanović, a director originating from Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina, has lived and worked in Sweden since 1992. He studied film direction at Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts (SADA), and worked as a producer and mentor with workshops for SIDA and SI in Kigali, Rwanda from 2005 to 2010, where he made five short films with Rwanda Film Centre. The films premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival 2011. His last four shorts and novel films have been awarded 23 international awards and the film Kiruna-Kigali was shortlisted for the Oscars.
