Tereza Nvotová

Tereza Nvotová is an emerging Slovak documentary and fiction film maker and a recent graduate from the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU). She directed several documentary films for the Czech and Slovak public television broadcasters before shooting her feature debut and graduation film Špina (Filthy, 2017), which premiered at Rotterdam IFF. In association with HBO, she shot the documentary Take It Jeasy! (2008), which was screened at several festivals and in Czech cinemas. She is also the author of the documentaries TRANSit (2015) and A Year with Fulbright (2014). Currently based in Prague, she is working on her second feature documentary about former Slovak PM Vladimír Meèiar, in co-production with HBO Europe. Nvotová is also a screenwriter and actress.
