Bady Minck

Bady Minck, born in Luxembourg, works as an artist, filmmaker and producer in Luxembourg and Vienna where she explores the field of tension between film and fine arts. She has made numerous films, the latest one being MappaMundi (2017), which have been invited to more than 500 film festivals, including Cannes, Berlin and Sundance. They have received many awards and have been shown in more than 40 retrospectives on four continents. Her artistic work has been presented at the Venice Biennale, the Moscow Biennale, the Pompidou Centre, Paris and the Lincoln Center, New York. Minck has participated in numerous juries, including the Orizzonti Jury at the Venice Film Festival. She founded the production company Amour Fou Luxembourg in 1995 in Luxembourg and co-founded Amour Fou Vienna in 2001 and has so far produced or co-produced more than 70 films by directors Margarethe von Trotta (Hannah Arendt), Jessica Hausner (Amour Fou), Dieter Berner (Egon Schiele) and many others.
