Mudam

The 4th collaboration between Mudam (Musée d'Art Moderne du Grand-Duc Jean, Luxembourg) and CinEast invites you to the screening of the Albanian documentary Light (52 min) about Gjon Mili in the presence of the directors, Yllka Gjollesha and Suela Bako within the frame of Mudam's Up to Eleven (Afterwork at Mudam 'til 11pm).

As master photographer for LIFE Magazine for more than 40 years, Gjon Mili (1904-1984) traveled the world, photographing artists, dancers, philosophers, celebrities, writers, and musicians. Q&A with the directors will follow right after the projection.

In addition, you will have the unique opportunity to watch Gjon Mili's legendary short music film Jammin' The Blues (USA, 1942, 10 Minutes), which will be screened in a loop from 6 to 7pm and from 8.30pm on.
