Loïc Millot

Loïc Millot, holds a PhD in Aesthetics and History of Cinema from the University of Lorraine and is the author of a thesis on the filmographies of Pier Paolo Pasolini and Andreï Tarkovski. His work is focused on the interactions between painting and cinema, the modern use of Christian traditions, Italian and Soviet cinematography, as well as the avant-garde movements in France. Besides his scientific publications, he writes for several European cultural magazines, portals and journals (Cineuropa, Le Film Français, d’Letzebuerger Land). He is also a member of ALPC (Luxembourg Film Critics Association).
