Ognjen Glavonić

Ognjen Glavonić is a writer and filmmaker from Serbia who graduated in Film and TV directing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. While he celebrated his breakthrough with documentaries such as Zivan Makes a Punk Festival (2014) and particularly Depth Two (2016, screened at CinEast) which premiered at the Berlinale Forum in 2016 and won numerous festival awards, his most recent work The Load marks his feature film debut and premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018, at the Director’s Fortnight section. He also founded Pančevo Film Festival in his hometown and figures as its director.
