Tower. A Bright Day by a debuting Jagoda Szelc premiered at the Berlinale and was named the biggest discovery of the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia.

Mula lives with her family in the countryside. Just before her daughter Nina's First Communion, Mula's long-lost sister pays them a visit. The family believes in reconciliation, but Mula has her reasons to feel afraid of Kaja, as she is Nina’s biological mother, which is the family's biggest secret. The festive gathering starts in a thriller-tense way, leading smoothly to a small apocalypse.

A family drama turned into metaphysical thriller, Tower. A Bright Day tells a mysterious story in a unique manner, with a skilful use of poetic storytelling, unexpected twists in plot and style, not to mention the impressive cinematography.
