It has been five years since Swedish couple Nina and Oskar's 7-year old daughter went missing while on vacation in Montenegro. Nina’s hope of finding her daughter alive has become an obsession - she wants nothing but to find whoever caused her so much pain. And take revenge.
Bosnian-born director of award winning How to Stop a Wedding, Dražen Kuljanin manages to bring to life in just 20 scenes (all unfolding during cigarette breaks) a dynamic, captivating thriller with crime, vengeance and punishment at its centre. A revenge-driven tale of grief, parental love and the impossibility of accepting one's fate, surrounded by cigarette smoke and atmospheric Balkan covers, with a slight surrealist touch.
