Ivan Bogdanov

Ivan Bogdanov graduated from the Rotterdam Art Academy in 2002 and in 2006 returned to Sofia, Bulgaria. He is co-founder of Compote Collective animation production company, along with Vessela Dantcheva. Together they direct and produce multi award-winning short animation films, which have been screened at festivals worldwide. In recent years he has also developed a passion for photography and tries to experiment in mix-media techniques, combining photography and animation. Since 2016 he has taught at the New Bulgarian University.
