Olga Chajdas

Olga Chajdas, born in Poznań in 1983, graduated in Film Production at the Łódź Film School and Directors Course at the Wajda School. She worked as first assistant director on numerous feature films and TV series such as Agnieszka Holland’s Academy Award-nominated In Darkness (2011). Her short film Morning Has Broken (2017) opened at Raindance, while 3xLOVE (2016) won Grand Prix at “Distances” Short Film Festival in Dublin. Her feature debut Nina (2018) premiered at Rotterdam, winning the Big Screen Award. In 2018 she was one of four women directors on the first Polish Netflix original series 1983. She’s currently working on her sophomore feature Stillborn.
