In a single instant, the entire life of 9-year-old Una is turned upside down; her grandpa, who is her best friend, is abducted by aliens and her mum collapses and ends up in hospital. While Una is trying to find out where her grandfather has disappeared, she accidentally discovers a hidden space full of strange space objects in the basement and is attracted by a small, grumpy robot claiming to be a space pilot. Una and the robot have less than 24 hours to find and rescue her grandpa and, along the way, discover and learn about the ‘secret ingredients’ of human life on our planet.
An extraordinary fantasy adventure film for children which reminds us about the values of friendship and love in an increasingly individualistic world and about their power to enrich our human lives.
