Jani Thiltges

Jani Thiltges studied film at INSAS in Brussels. He is a co-founder, partner and CEO of Samsa Film, Luxembourg´s biggest film production company (founded in 1986), where he has produced and coproduced more than 80 feature films. He is also a co-founder and partner of Artemis Productions (Belgium) and the head of EAVE, the professional training, project development and networking organisation for audiovisual producers. In 2004, he was decorated by the Grand Duke of Luxembourg for his activities in the cinematographic field. In 2010, he received the prestigious Prix Eurimages (together with Diana Elbaum). He recently produced The Restless, the new feature film by the Belgian director Joachim Lafosse, and The Orphanage by the Afghan filmmaker Shahrbanoo Sadat. His name can be found on the credit list of many acclaimed productions, including Don´t Look Back by Marina Van, Our Children by Joachim Lafosse or Bye Bye Germany and Irina Palm by Sam Garbarski. He is currently producing Where is Anne Frank by the Oscar nominee and Golden Globe Winner Ari Folman.
