Alexandra Borbély

Alexandra Borbély

Alexandra Borbély is a Slovakia-born theatre and film actor, living and working in Hungary. Alexandra graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, and subsequently went to Budapest to study acting. Since graduating from the Budapest University of Theatre and Film Arts in 2012, she has worked at József Katona Theatre in Budapest. She has performed in many stage productions, and appeared in a variety of television and film roles, both in Hungary and Slovakia. In 2017, she won the European Actress Award for her enthralling performance in the leading role of Ildikó Enyedi´s critically acclaimed On Body and Soul. This year, she plays one of the protagonists in Cecília Felméri´s original feature debut Spirál.
