Janka belongs to the last generation that can reduce the effects of the climate catastrophe. She is ready to break the law and assume all the consequences in order to save the future of the planet. Janka wakes up every day thinking about the end of the world. According to scientists, 2030 will be the year when humanity will trigger a chain reaction resulting in the end of our civilisation. This burden pushes Janka to take radical action and participate in several blockades. She begins to understand she will have to make a choice. Involvement in the climate movement dominates her everyday life; work and studies are relegated into the background. In the lunar landscape of an open-pit coal mine, she realises how far she is willing to go to stop this. From this moment the despair ends, and tactics kick into action.
A fascinating portrait of a determined young girl for whom activism turns out to be something that gives her strength and hope.
