Christina Tynkevych grew up in Kyiv, Ukraine. At the age of 19, she moved to London where she studied film at the University of the Arts and the University of Westminster. She is a Midpoint Feature Launch alumna and has participated in various co-pro markets and workshops including Karlovy Vary Eastern Promises, Thessaloniki AGORA co-pro forum, AGORA WiP, EAVE-on-demand, EWA FestForward or New Horizons Studio+. Christina has directed two short films (her first short documentary Kraina was long-listed for the Oscars 2017) and a feature documentary (Generation 91). How Is Katia? is her feature film debut.
