A Slovenian family living on the outskirts of Melbourne has been hit by a tragedy. Ten-year-old Moja refuses to accept her mother's sudden death and busies herself instead with the pregnancy of her 20-year-old sister, Vesna. Vesna herself, on the other hand, is unable to deal with the pain and acts as if she is not aware of her state. Alternately depressed and manic, she writes poetry and chain-smokes, while Moja is trying to collect baby clothes and accessories...
Impeccably cast and tightly constructed, Slovenian-Australian director Sara Kern's powerful and confident feature debut tells a touching intimate story of dealing with loss and grief, as seen from the perspective of a ten-year-old girl.

The film premiered in the Generation Kplus section of this year's Berlinale.
