Tina, a young woman who has lost her way in life, rents a room from flamboyant Megi. Not used to fending for herself, Tina waits patiently for her boyfriend to move to Tbilisi. But the situation does not go according to plan and Tina, thanks to Megi, begins to discover what it is like to be free and to make decisions for herself... One year after the premiere of his feature debut, Otar’s Death (screened at CinEast 2021), Ioseb ‘Soso’ Bliadze offers an impressively directed and extraordinarily authentic and vibrant “metropolitan” film that zooms in on the life and existential concerns of millennials in contemporary Tbilisi, while showing the lasting influence of patriarchal thinking on parts of Georgian society.
