Antonie Formanová is the daughter of the Czech actor Petr Forman and granddaughter of the famous director Miloš Forman. She is a student at Prague’s theatre school DAMU, in the Department of alternative and puppet theatre.

In 2016, Antonie directed Martin, a student film, but has devoted herself to acting since. Alongside her theatre roles (Dejvické divadlo, NO A!), she has starred in TV films (Dukla 61) and recently appeared in several high-profile Czech feature films. For her role in Michal Nohejl’s Occupation, she was awarded the Czech Lion Award for Best Supporting Actress.
