Patrice Leconte is undoubtedly an outlier on the French cinematic landscape of the last fifty years - a filmmaker who is difficult to categorise, who likes to alternate genres and mix tones. The renowned filmmaker accepted to become the President of the Jury of CinEast 2023 and this occasion is marked by a mini-retrospective of his work and a masterclass. More information
Damian Kocur is a talented Polish director and cinematographer, a graduate of Krzysztof Kieslowski’s Film School in Katowice and a PhD student at the Łódź Film School. We are proud to screen his feature debut Bread and Salt as well as his latest short film As It Was. More information
Goran Stolevski grew up in Macedonia before emigrating to Australia in his teens. Before shifting to feature films, Goran made twenty-five shorts, screened at over 200 festivals worldwide. We are pleased to present two of his three features (those related to the Balkans), the folk horror You Won't Be Alone and the brand new film Housekeeping for Beginners. More information
