Luxembourgish actress and director
Sophie Langevin is a French and Luxembourgish producer, director, and actress working with various artists in Luxembourg, France, and Belgium. She has produced several award-winning short films with Jako Raybaut. She recently worked with Camille Panza and the Ersatz theatre company in Brussels, and with Alexandra Tobelaim of the Centre Dramatique National de Thionville on the Ekinox/Fête des Rêves project. This was in the context of Esch22, European Capital of Culture. She directed Homme sans but by Norwegian playwright Arne Lygre at the Théâtre National de Luxembourg. She is also developing the vast Portraits en Chambre project, which consists of performative installations for one spectator. Her film credits include Emily Atef's More Than Ever (2022), Andy Bausch's Little Duke (2022) and Gintare Parulyte's Date Night (2023).
