Bence Fliegauf is a writer, director, production and sound designer. He was born in 1974 and lives in Budapest. His debut feature Forest (2003) won the Wolfgang Staudte Prize at the Berlinale in the section Forum. One year later he won the Berliner Zeitung Audience Award for his second movie shown in the same section, Dealer (2004, screened at CinEast 2011), which was honoured by more than 20 prestigious awards (including FIPRESCI Award). His 2007 feature Milky Way won Locarno's Golden Leopard. In 2010 he made his first English-language movie Womb with Eva Green (screened at CinEast 2013). Just The Wind (2012) received the Grand Jury Prize at the Berlinale, the Amnesty International Film Prize and the Peace Film Award as well. The film also won the Council of Europe Film Award at the Istanbul Film Festival. His latest movie Lily Lane (2016) premiered at the Berlinale Forum in 2016 and won the main award at Minsk Listapad.
