Gjorce Stavreski

Gjorce Stavreski, born in 1978 in Macedonia, graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje. He has made a number of short films and documentaries and in 2017 he made his feature film debut with Secret Ingredient (2017). He directs, writes and produces his own films and has also directed over a hundred TV commercials. Secret Ingredient has been included in numerous international festivals and won the EAVE Scholarship Award at WEMW Pitching Forum in Trieste, the Best Screenplay award at the Script Corner at the Manaki Brothers Film Festival (Macedonia) and the Best Promising Debut at the Let’s CEE festival in Vienna. The film has been chosen to represent Macedonia at the upcoming Academy Awards. Stavreski is also the founder of the independent production company Fragment Film.
