Teodor Kuhn

Teodor Kuhn is a young Slovak director who attended the Faculty of Film and Television at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava where he studied in the Department of Film and TV Directing. There he directed his short films which gained international success: Lost Children (Trieste Film Festival 2012 – Official Selection, Grand Prix Celtix Seeds 2 2012); Momo (Rome Independent Film Festival 2013 - Best Student Short Film, Cinemaiubit International Student Film Festival Bucharest 2014 - Special Jury Prize 2014), Vox Populi, 2014 (Festival du Jeune Paris 2015, Tuzla Film Festival 2015), I am Sorry, 2015 (High Mountain Film Festival 2016, USA). By A Sharp Knife is his debut feature film. Apart from making films and commercials, Teodor is involved with the Slovak Skateboarding Association, for which he built the first concrete skatepark in Bratislava (he also take part in CinEast’s “Skateboarding Event” on 4/10) and he also educates parents and teachers about digital technology and computer games.
