A trio of comedies by artists with a quirky sense of humour: a surreal story about a man who is stuck in a strange place called Ederly, followed by Dawn (with director), a bizarre comic, yet raw, story set in the toughest times of Soviet kolkhozification, packaged by sublime camerawork straying towards grotesque; ending with the Czech Oscar candidate Lost in Munich that introduces the 90+ year old talking parrot of Edouard Daladier in a film going in unexpected directions while attacking the realms of the absurd.
