CinEast festival will try to tickle not only your cinematographic but also your culinary tastebuds. We invite you, as every year, to join an exciting gastronomic adventure through eastern and central Europe.
A tasty selection of specialities from different corners of eastern Europe will keep your energy levels high during the CinEast Balkan Party at Melusina (4 Oct.)! The stars of Balkan fusion – Shantel & Bucovina Club Orkestar will serve you a blast of positive vibes and the venue’s upper floor will please your stomach with traditional hearty dishes and snacks to help you enjoy dancing the night away.
For a more classical culinary experience, head to our gastronomic evenings, which this year will be hosted in two new venues – Brasserie Bosso (8 Oct.) and Bovary Café (16 Oct.). You will be able to choose your own menu of up to three courses from various options representing various eastern European cuisines and spice up your dinner with wines and beers from the region. The event at the Bovary Café will be additionally accompanied by local musicians playing gypsy music. For reservations please contact the venues directly (Brasserie Bosso: www.bosso.lu and Bovary Café: www.lebovary.lu)
The tastes of eastern Europe will also accompany the Slavic Night at Sang & Klang (12 Oct.). Stands representing several countries from the Slavic region will be offering authentic flavours of their traditional warm and cold dishes throughout the evening. Moreover, a wide selection of traditional drinks (beers, wines, spirits & more) will be served at the bar.
Come hungry as well to our Closing Party at Melusina (19 Oct.)! A wide selection of filling dishes and snacks from our region offered during the evening will allow you to enjoy the energetic tunes of Malaka Hostel and Baltic Balkans until the morning hours.
And last but not least, throughout the festival, the CinEast official bar, Café Rocas, will serve a selection of central and eastern European drinks. The festival mini-bar at the Cinémathèque will make your waiting for a film screening more enjoyable with sweet and salty snacks, as well as drinks from the countries of central and eastern Europe. In addition, those attending the short films marathons will be treated to free snacks and refreshments during the breaks and coffee & home-made cakes will be available at the Kids Show in Neimënster.
