Come to enjoy the screening of the sun-drenched village story Where The Road Leads by young Serbian director Nina Ognjanović and have some relaxed time after the screening with drinks and typical Serbian snacks prepared by the members of the Serbian community in Luxembourg.

Once upon a time in a very rural part of South-Eastern Serbia. A small secluded village where time has stopped, still awaiting a good many conveniences of modern life, its inhabitants locked in their eternal everyday routines and murderously hostile to changes. The summer heat is suffocating and 18-year-old Jana wishes nothing more than to leave this place forever. Then, a mysterious outsider arrives, and his fate is foretold…

The director Nina Ognjanović will attend the screening, answer your questions during a Q&A and join you at the "buvette" for an informal chat in our typical friendly festival atmosphere.

The Serbian evening is organised in collaboration with the Serbian Cultural Centre in Luxembourg and the Embassy of Serbia in Brussels.
