Gintare Parulyte

Gintare Parulyte, born in Vilnius, moved to Luxembourg at the age of 7 where she began working as an actress on both national and international film and theater productions. Having worked under the tutelage of various acting teachers from different parts of the world, she earned a master’s degree in media and communication. She wrote, directed and starred in the autobiographical monodrama “A Lithualien in the Land of Bananas” and after a film directing course at the London Film School she  embarked on a collaboration with “RED LION” film productions. The screening at CinEast, where she was a jury member in 2014, will be the world premiere of her directorial debut Is That, Like, Your Real Job?
